A PAMUMVURI LEADERSHIP FORMATION PROGRAMME

Formation
before
responsibility.

Prepare people to make sound choices when pressure, values and responsibility collide.

A facilitated Leadership Lab, private reflection and continuing practice — adapted for schools, tertiary institutions and organisations.

Institution-led. Practical. Built for real pressure.

THE PASSAGE

Pressure is inevitable.
Preparation is deliberate.

01 / FORMATION

Appointment creates authority.
Formation prepares a person to carry it.

THE GREATNESS PROJECT
FORMATION BEFORE RESPONSIBILITY

01 / THE FORMATION GAP

Knowing the rules.
Carrying the responsibility.

A qualification, badge or promotion can change what is expected of someone. It does not, by itself, prepare them for a difficult choice.

IN SCHOOL

When fairness means
correcting a friend.

A prefect must uphold a standard without humiliating a peer or losing trust.

AT WORK

When speaking up
feels harder than silence.

An emerging professional must question a shortcut while respecting the limits of their role.

IN LEADERSHIP

When a decision
outlives the decision-maker.

A senior leader must weigh immediate gain against the consequences for an institution and the people it serves.

We call these Red Sea Moments: pressure points where a choice tests courage, integrity and responsibility. The programme gives people a structured way to recognise, examine and practise responding to them.

03 / ONE FORMATION METHOD

Insight is the start.
Practice carries it forward.

Five connected components create the full formation architecture. Your tier determines the depth of dialogue, integration and continuity.

01

Leadership Lab

Practise the difficult choice

A facilitated experience using realistic situations from the participants’ stage and responsibilities.

02

Red Sea Journal

Reflect without being inspected

A private, structured Journal to examine pressure, choices, consequences and commitments.

03

Crossroads Dialogues

Think with others, within clear boundaries

Facilitated peer conversations around competing duties. Personal disclosure is never required.

04

Integration Journey

Make practice part of real life

Reinforcement and check-ins over 90 days in Formation or 180 days in Stewardship.

05

Wisdom Capture & Continuity

Keep the lesson, protect the person

Participant-selected, non-sensitive learning can enter a separately governed handover. Private Journals never transfer.

04 / FOR INSTITUTIONS

A cohort.
A clear owner.
A plan that continues.

Commission a defined group through your school, tertiary institution, employer, professional body, board or convening organisation.

Read the commissioning brief
  1. 01

Clarify the group and the pressure

Discuss participant fit and current formation arrangements. A readiness review is a planning conversation, not a diagnostic test.

  2. 02

    Agree scope, ownership and boundaries

Choose a tier. Confirm the calendar, facilitator, liaison, safeguarding, confidentiality and reporting arrangements.

  3. 03

    Begin, practise and review

Start the Leadership Lab. Continue with the selected journey, agree what to measure and preserve approved, non-sensitive lessons.

THE COMMITMENT

Choose the depth
of formation.

Start with clarity, build consistent practice or establish continuity. Investment is confirmed after scope.

A DISCIPLINED START

Ignition

Leadership Lab + initial guidance

Realistic pressure scenarios, the Red Sea framework, a private Journal and basic integration guidance.

No ongoing 90-day or 180-day journey.

Discuss Ignition

CONTINUITY WITHIN THE INSTITUTION

Stewardship

180-day Integration Journey

The formation architecture expanded to 180 days, with deeper facilitation, measurement design and governed continuity.

180 days total, not 90 plus 180 days.

Discuss Stewardship

Lab duration, group size, calendar, delivery setting and staff commitment are agreed before implementation. Staff Champions capacity transfer has its own approved scope and competence requirements.

06 / TRUST IS PART OF THE DESIGN

Private reflection.
Visible responsibility.

The Greatness Project is a Pamumvuri leadership formation programme. Its credibility starts with clear scope and boundaries.

The Journal stays private

No compelled disclosure. Personal Journals do not become school, selection, HR, recruitment or sponsor records.

Institutions retain authority

School selection, safeguarding, employment and formal decision rights remain with the authorised institution.

Formation has a defined boundary

This is non-clinical formation, not therapy, diagnosis, crisis care or a substitute for professional advice.

Evidence must earn its place

The intended benefits are more deliberate judgement, responsible action and continuity. Outcomes are agreed and measured during delivery; improvement is not guaranteed.

FOR FUNDERS & PARTNERS

Fund the opportunity.
Protect the formation.

Sponsors, donors and foundations can help a defined cohort access formation. The institution retains participant selection and programme authority.

Agree the funded scope, acknowledgement and aggregate reporting in advance. Funding brings no privileged access to participants, private Journals, procurement or dialogue. Public or voluntary activities require separate, explicit arrangements.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few practical answers.

Can I join as an individual?

You can enquire about fit. Delivery is organised through an approved institution or convenor; an enquiry is not a place reservation. School students and parents should work through the school’s authorised staff.

Is this a three-day camp?

The current offer begins with a Leadership Lab. Duration, format and contact time are agreed during scope. Formation includes a 90-day journey; Stewardship includes a 180-day journey. A year-long digital programme is not a standard commitment.

What does it cost?

Investment is confirmed after scope. Tier, participant group, facilitation load, delivery setting and institutional adoption requirements determine the quotation. Dates and availability are agreed before any commitment.

Does participation carry accreditation or CPD credit?

No general accreditation or CPD/PDU claim is made. Staff Champions has a separate, component-specific competence pathway in Stewardship, tied to a named institution and approved scope. It is not professional licensure or unrestricted delivery authority.

Are phones or apps required?

No. Print-first delivery is available. Digital reinforcement is optional and governed; schools control communication with students.

Can we use this to select prefects or assess employees?

No. Private Journals and disclosures stay outside selection, HR and performance files. Leadership Foundations is development before authority, not a test predicting appointment.

What if someone needs urgent support?

The enquiry form is for programme discussions and is not monitored as a crisis channel. Use your institution’s established safeguarding or clinical support route. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.

THE NEXT STEP

Begin with the people.
Define the responsibility.

A formation briefing clarifies fit, scope, ownership and the next decision. It does not commit you to a booking.
